hey (Shal and Lloyd) picked us up the our hotel and were very friendly. After we picked up another couple (so 4 people plus the guide- nice small group), we made our way to the rainforest. Along the way Lloyd and Shal pointed out many interesting buildings and their history. We also got to go thru a banana plantation, where explained how they get the bananas and what happens if the crops are damaged during hurricane season. We made two stops, one to a woman sitting off the road where we could buy local spices and products (get the saffron!!) and then another stop where we could eat fresh fruit (coconut, banana, pineapple, etc) and for another $1 get your photo with a snake. When we started the walk itself, Lloyd was very knowledgeable with the plants and animals. We watched him climb palm trees, crack open coconuts, and climb up a vine with the greatest of ease! He was very patient with us taking photographs as well. After the walk, we got to the waterfall, which was a great treat after walking so far! We then had lunch in Marigot Bay, which was a wide array of items, including fish, chicken, pasta, and rice! Oh and let's no forget ice cream! Lloyd and Shal were very friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour to everyone! Oh and lets not forget the open jeep rides with singing out loud!! Great times! Shal makes some of the best rum punch

I spent a lot of time reading reviews about Shal and the tours he offers in St. Lucia. Our cruise ship was stopping there for a day so a group of 4 of us from Texas decided to take his tour. Well let me tell you we are glad we did because we had an absolute blast with Shal. He is very personable, knowledgeable about the island and hey, he likes country music!! Shal picked us up in his open air jeep and off we went with a cooler full of drinks and Shal singing along to his Ipod on a 7 hour journey through the south side of the island. We passed many of his island friends, tried the special Cassava bread and many exotic fruits. He took us up to the volcano where we tried the mud bath – what a hoot!! If you don’t mind getting dirty this is a must!! The day ended with a great beachside buffet lunch that was set up just for us with time to swim or relax on the beach. . This day was truly an unforgettable experience, and you are really missing out if you visit St. Lucia without taking a tour with Shal.

We were in St. Lucia more than a year ago and the memories of the rainforest tour with Jungle Tours remains a very cherished memory. We had a group of 11 family and friends in St. Lucia for our wedding. Folks were from various states and this was our first advernture as a group. We had a ball! The whole day was fabulous: swerving through St. Lucia in an open-backed Jeep; learning about cocoa beans; tasting amazing fresh fruit; swiming beneath the waterfall; lunching on fantastic St. Lucian local food; swimmming and relaxing in a secluded bay; and singing unforgettable songs all the way back to Soufreire while drinking rum punch! It was a favorite day for all of us! We so appreciate your hospitality and depth of knowledge avout the island. If anyone reading this is considering a rainforest tour, choose this one! You wont be dissapointed. Shawl and Peter are great! Thank you for a wonderful time! Jill and Pete

Whenever we can, we try to book private tours when we visit the islands. Most of the time we are very fortunate and enjoy a special island experience. On our recent (and first) visit to St Lucia we prearranged for Jungle Tours and Shal to tour us around his island and we have to say that this was not only the best tour of the trip but our best tour EVER! Shal is an absolute blast to pass the day with. His knowledge of the island and sheer happiness with life in general made the day memorable for all of us. We can't wait to come back when we have more time to spend exporing St. Lucia's beauty and when we do - Shal and Jungle Tours will be a big part of it.

We used Jungletours for our first visit to St Lucia, and we were not dissapointed. Unfortunately Shal was under the weather, so we took the tour with Peter, his assistant of over 10 years. We chose the Enbas Saut Falls Trail, and we were very happy with our choice. The Rainforest was absolutely beautiful, and the waterfall at the bottom of the trail was refreshing. Peter was very knowledable about the Island, and explained a lot on the way to the trail. The lunch that we had afterwards was buffet style, and had the most incredible view of the Pitons. Thank you Peter for making our vacation memorable, and we would not hesitate to use or recommend your services again for any future visits to St Lucia. Thanks, Ingo & Arleen

Must be the most Beautiful place I have ever been! The rainforest hike was more than I imagined! Shal showed us such a good time:food, drinks, and my favorite, the music and beauty of the island!
